Students in Temasek Applied Science School (ASc) scale new heights in achievement and community involvement through Overseas Community Projects (OCP). Students on the OCP programme prepare and execute service projects to benefit communities overseas, such as orphanages in Cambodia. During the OCP, students apply their technical knowledge and skills to improve the well-being of the people they serve. Areas of service include food hygiene and preparation, health education, water treatment and skills training for sustainable livelihood. Students return from the OCP with valuable insight into the importance of cultural engagement, change-readiness and the pursuit of community development and excellence.
