The Singapore Society for Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (SSBMB) Final Year Project Mini Symposium was held on 5 April 2007 at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. This is the very first time SSBMB has organized such a symposium for polytechnic students to share their final year project experiences.
The symposium was attended by staff and students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic. Participating students were invited to display their final year project posters and selected students were chosen to give oral presentations. These posters and oral presentations were then graded by a panel of judges from NUS, SSBMB and NP.
Our ASc students,Deborah Khoo Li Kim (BMS) and Kok Jiaying (BIO), won two of three 'Best Poster' awards. Samantha Li Hui Juan (BMS) was awarded the 3rd prize in the oral presentation category
