Temasek Applied Science School (ASc) has spearheaded capability developments in several niche areas in the applied sciences which include Traditional Chinese Medicine, Plant Molecular Biology and Hydroponics, Baking Science, and Environmental Science.

ASc has teams of staff working on various research projects, and some of their research have been presented at international conferences and published in international journals. In addition, ASc works closely with industries on a regular basis through consultancy projects.

Many ASc students have opportunity to work on and learn from these research projects in their final year via the Major Projects.These Major Projects could be based in established local and overseas research institutions and companies, and within ASc.
