The Student Internship Programme (SIP) is an important component in all Applied Science courses to prepare our students for a future of dynamic change. We aim to provide our students not only with opportunities to train in areas of the chemical and life sciences but also to expose them to the real working world where they are challenged to handle real problems and develop life-long skills such as effective communication and interpersonal skills. Such training programmes will not be possible without the support of you, our industry partners.
We are also encouraging our students to perform their internship overseas as part of Singapore’s regionalisation drive to ensure our long-term survival through our Overseas Student Internship Programme (OSIP). You can help nurture in our students an international outlook and global mindset by giving them the golden opportunity to gain practical experience and life skills in a real work environment overseas. By lending a hand in training the future workforce, the industry will stand to benefit when you next employ our graduates.
The length of the internship program is between 12 to 20 weeks. You can contact the following coordinators for more information about our programme.
