Course Overview
The part-time Tuina courses jointly offered by Temasek Polytechnic and the Singapore College of TCM (SCTCM) emphasize the use of acupressure as a means of enhancing health and well-being. In these courses, participants will acquire Tuina techniques, built upon a good knowledge of body mechanics, and legal and ethical aspects of healthcare practices.

We would like to emphasise that in compliance with the current regulations control on the practice of TCM Tuina, graduates from the Tuina courses are not allowed to practise TCM Tuina.  Nevertheless, a few subjects dealing with the identification of ailments that are only to be handled by qualified TCM physicians, have been included to enhance participants' awareness.

Graduates of the Diploma in Acupressure will be eligible to apply for the SCTCM degree programmes, subject to their meeting the entry requirements stipulated by the TCMP Board (Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board).
